THE HULK

Pa and Grammy had such fun giving Clayton his HULK gloves. We boxed them in a sleeping bag box to full him. He had asked us for these gloves. He told us they were at Target, in the kids section. And.....there are 3 targets in Modesto. So of course, we had to get these. When he opened the sleeping bag box....he said "YOU remembered". Warmed our hearts. Such small things can make a Grammy and Pa beam with JOY...
We also tried taking short video. SO hopefully you will be able to see Scott playing with the HULK gloves and chasing the kids around our kitchen. The video is the middle picture.

AJ's dedication

Steve and I drove to Southern CA this weekend for AJ's dedication. We enjoyed seeing his big smile and watching Cami and Gus parent. AJ is blessed with devoted parents. It was hard to leave knowing we will not see AJ until they come here in early July. I know how much they change from day to day during the first months.
Steve and I went a day early and visited Coronado Island where we had a great lunch. Afterwards we stopped and took the tour of the USS Midway. In trying to set the lighting for our pictures at the church for the dedication I somehow lost all the pictures I had taken during the weekend other than the ones of the dedication.

Felton, California

Thursday Steve and I took our little trailer to Felton (near Santa Cruz) in the redwoods. We had a great time together. Took daily hikes, ate and spent time with a couple who were in the spot next to us. They had a trail lite too!! So we shared our pros/cons of having Trail Lites. Their's was 3 ft longer and had a slide out. So I was a bit jealous. Wanted to share pictures of our site. We had a creek running in the back of our site. Now back to the real world for a couple of weeks. Then off to San Clemente...to see AJ. We can't wait!!!

Riley's 2 and Owen is dedicated

We've had a busy March. The weekend after our Easter in Southern CA Owen was dedicated at Cornerstone Covenant Church. Afterwards we went to Stacey and Alan's and celebrated Riley's 2nd birthday. Riley is sharing his police motorcycle with his little brother, Owen. It's hard to believe how blessed we have been this last year. We have are so thankful for our grandchildren and their parents. Steve and I were just commenting that it seems like yesterday Stacey graduated from high school. We were wondering what we would do with our time with no softball and baseball games to go to. The last two Saturdays we were at Clayton's T-ball games. So here we go again. Praise God he has allowed us this great privilege to be a part of our children and grand children's lives. It's busy, crazy, and so rewarding to see the fruits of our labor. I can't believe how fast these babies are growing...
